If you get oil inside the motor it can be cleaned and restored to working condition in many cases. This is an example or tutorial of how to do it using Krud Kutter Cleaner & Degreaser. I put over 50 drops of oil in the motor on the brushes and commutator and it all cleaned off and the motor runs like new.
