🩷Lightweight threads, 80wt & 100wt, are perfect for subtle stitches & dense quilting. One perk of using a lightweight thread is that it is less stiff, keeping your project more flexible even when doing dense quilting designs. These threads are also great for micro quilting, & stitch in the ditch!
🩷Medium Weight threads , 40wt & 50wt, are a great go to if you aren't sure what to use for a project. They are versatile, strong, & great for general quilting. They are also the most popular threads for quilting so come in a wide variety of colours, & materials. Choose between polyester & cotton depending on your preffered look!
🩷Heavyweight threads, 12wt, are extremely bold. Perfect for if you want your thread to really stand out. 12wt thread is the thickest thread you can safely fit through the eye of a sewing machine needle. Some threads we recommend are Spagetti, Fruitti, GlaMore, & Accent!
