How To Check Your Ubuntu Version Number ?

Step 1: Login to Ubuntu .

Step 2: Now ,Go to system Button located at the top right hand corner of Screen ,Click on It .

Step 3: Click on System Settings .

Step 4: Click on Details .You will see Ubuntu version Number and other Information .

How to check it From terminal ?

Step 1: Open Terminal .

Step 2: Type the below command without quotes

"lsb_release -a" and hit enter .You will see version number of Ubuntu .
