Repair & Resell | How to change a broken charge port on a PS4 controller when it's not charging [EASY - No Soldering] @RepairResell | Uploaded August 2020 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Let's fix controller # 2 of Joblot #3 with a faulty charge port that is preventing the controller from charging. This was a pretty easy fix to do and it could be a nice idea to try this as one of your first fix if you can be sure that it's only the charge port that is faulty. This fix could also fix connectivity issues.

If you are attempting this repair, make sure to buy a matching charging port as there is more then one depending on the generation of your Playstation 4 controller (Dualshock 4).
