The Fast Set Tooling/Prototyping Urethane Kit is a two-part system engineered for fast part production. Other urethanes take several hours, sometimes longer, to cure to the point where they can be removed from the mold. Prototypes and parts made from the Fast Set Urethane can be removed within 30-40 minutes, depending on the part thickness, and put into service within a day.
We used a Preval Sprayer to apply our Easy Clean Mold Release. After 20 minutes to let the release dry completely, we mixed the urethane parts A and B 1:1 by weight and poured it into the mold before the 4-6 minute work life expired. Around 30 minutes later we de-molded the part by tapping it on a work table. Fast, easy and reliable.
