The "paint function" on the Material Estimator isn't just for paint. You can also use it to calculate how much mud mix, thin-set mortar, or other materials you need to finish the job.

PLUS...you can also work backwards to see how much wall or floor area your remaining materials will cover.

Pretty nifty tool for the jack of all trades!
