This is one of the "knitted" cast ons. It requires two needles and has you "knit" each new loop onto the left-hand knitting needle as you go along. We'd like to thank Lucy Neatby for showing us the "tail adjusted slip knot" and Ann Budd for showing us how to deal with that last stitch of the cast on row, the one that's always crossing over the one before it!
