DIY Wooden Exterior Window Shutters w/ Modern Horizontal Slat Design.

In today's video I'm updating the old shutters that are falling off of my income property renovation. I built these contemporary window shutters with cedar fence pickets from the big box store and they were super affordable... less than $10 of lumber in each shutter The farmhouse style shutters that were up were trendy about 10 years ago and something a bit more contemporary should help the exterior of this house stand out!! This is a pretty simple project, I did everything with "limited tools" but it would be a breeze in a fully fit workshop! If you build some, I'd love to see, tag me @modernbuilds on instagram!
