Building a Minimalist Industrial Coffee Table | Walnut & Steel.
In this build, we're making a minimalist coffee table with an industrial twist — no thin Danish modern legs here. The centerpiece is a thick, solid walnut top that anchors the whole piece, paired with splayed steel legs that give it a raw, sturdy feel.
We walk through the full build process:

Jointing, milling, and squaring up the walnut boards
Laying out boards for grain flow and using dominoes for alignment
Cutting angled steel legs with a simple wedge trick on the Harbor Freight metal cutting bandsaw (no angle adjustments needed!)
Tacking everything together on the fixture table
Fabricating custom end caps from flat bar stock when the right-sized plastic inserts couldn't be found

Whether you're into woodworking, metalworking, or just love a clean, bold piece of furniture, this one's a fun blend of both worlds.
