Ever since The Abandoned Boudoir Diorama first began to take shape, I knew it had to include a Gothic Prayer Bench; all the evidence suggests that our vanished inhabitant was deeply religious. These incredibly beautiful pieces of devotional furniture have a hauntingly poignant aura to them - this would have been a piece that was used every day.
Designing the Prie Dieu was pure joy - but building it was even better. Since falling in love with the process of transforming chipboard into 'wood', designing for and building with this incredible material is all I want to do...

Masking Tape + Strong Grip Mat
.022 Chipboard settings:
Pressure 340
2x cuts
Select "More" pressure
Deep Point Blade
Cut Time: 15 Minutes
Cardstock Components:
1 Sheet of 12" x 12" Cardstock (65lb / 176gsm)
Light Grip Mat
Cardstock (for Intricate Cuts)
Select "More" pressure
Select "Fast Mode"
Fine Point Blade
Cut Time: 10 Minutes
