Today I'm installing 370 watts of flexible solar panels on the DIY Travel Trailer Project! In the video I'll show how I ran the solar wiring, installed the flexible solar panels, made the charge controller / battery connections, and ran everything in the trailer off of just solar and battery power. This represents the last major step in the build to make the trailer off grid capable and usable for camping!
..... But for those of you who have been enjoying this project, do not worry, there are still plenty of things that I have planned to add to this trailer in the coming year! A DIY awning, slide out kitchen, outdoor shower, interior bath area, etc,... just to name a few!
I also want to give a huge thank you to Sunflare Solar for donating two samples of their flexible solar panels for this project. They were super easy to install and I think represent the future of solar in both their design and manufacturing process. Sunflare is primarily a solar panel manufacturer for OEM Companies, but they do offer distribution through OK4WD.com. Here is a link to the sunflare panels
