In this domino tutorial, I teach The Skorys (Cole, Eden, Gabriella, and Tylor) how to build a 1x1 domino tower that is triggered by a simple domino line. It's an easy domino trick that you can add to your setups, but it does require a bit of precision. Subscribe to The Skorys! youtube.com/theskorys

The dominoes should be as close as they can to the edge of the domino underneath without them hanging off. Everything should be square and even. The most difficult part is angling the first domino of the tower - you need to angle it enough that a domino line will still topple the tower, but not TOO much that the tower falls over early. It can be tricky at first, so I recommend doing a few tests ahead of time to see what works for you in your building conditions. The taller you build the tower, the more difficult it will be to angle that first domino and trigger it with a domino line, so if you are building taller than around 14 layers, I recommend using a small to large set to knock it down instead.

It’s time for another Collaborative Community Compilation! Every Summer, I organize a way for the community to get involved by participating in a domino-related challenge. This time, the challenge is to build a domino project on an unconventional surface!
RULES AND GUIDELINES:
🔹 No floors and tables allowed! Apart from that, you can use whatever you come up with as an unconventional building surface. Hint: the more creative/challenging/unique the building surface is, the better :)
🔹 Feel free to build whatever you’d like! There are no limitations in terms of what you set up. I’ll be judging entries based on a combination of the building surface and the domino project itself.
🔹 Note: This compilation is NOT a screenlink, so it is not necessary to add an in and out domino line
🔹 Film your domino topple horizontally in widescreen (16:9), and if possible, use a tripod to keep the camera still
🔹 Please do not add music or additional watermarks to the video
🔹 Only ONE entry allowed per person
🔹 Deadline to submit an entry is September 19, 2023 at 11:59PM ET
🔹 Must be 13 years or older or have a parent’s permission to submit your video
🔹 Have fun :)
SUBMITTING YOUR VIDEO (2 STEPS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
1) Post your video on social media (YouTube, Instagram, or Twitter) using the hashtag #H5dominocommunity in your caption. If you submit your entry through YouTube, please include how youd like to be credited (name/username) in the video title (example title:

2) Submit the video link at https://Hevesh5.com/submissions by Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:59PM ET for a chance to be included in the final compilation video. NOTE: I cannot guarantee that all videos submitted will make it into the final compilation. Please double check that you’ve followed all rules and guidelines!
