How to break in a new lawn mower engine the right way (Toro Recycler Max) + first oil change and oil analysis send-out.
I run the engine, drain the oil after 30 minutes, and send it to Blackstone Labs to see what’s REALLY inside.
In this video, I walk through a full step-by-step engine break-in on a brand new Toro Recycler Max with a Briggs & Stratton 163cc engine. I show you exactly how I run the engine, vary RPMs, perform the critical first oil change (“The Dirty 30”), and inspect the oil for metal particles. Then I send a sample out to Blackstone Laboratories for professional oil analysis to find out what’s actually happening inside a new engine during break-in.
