You don’t have to give up what makes Dragonlance special just to play the new Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Edition. In fact, the original setting broke game conventions 40 years ago—so we’re going to break them again! To fit Krynn’s tightly regulated magic, every single arcane caster must join the Orders of High Sorcery by level 3, or instantly become a hunted renegade. What about the new player species? It’s all about the reskin. Aasimar perfectly match the winged Phaethons. Orcs effortlessly become brutal Half-Ogres. And Goliaths? Those are your Half-Giants. Even Tieflings work! Just trace them back to the Chaos War, where planar rifts allowed them to escape the Abyss onto Krynn 37 years ago.
