This is the 2nd episode of our Metal Working for Beginners series where we show how to bend 1/8th inch and 3/16 inch steel plate into benches without needing expensive specialized tools. We use 2x4s and basic C-clamps to bend the steel and experiment with several different ways of reinforcing it. I was really pleased with easy it was to bend steel plates without heating and am excited about all the possibilities this opens up.
