What does "beating" an NES game even mean? In MANY cases it's really messy to define how to "beat" a game. What do you do when a game doesn't have an ending? What if it has multiple endings? What if there are secret requirements to meet or what if a game was never meant to be beaten?

I discuss what it means to say you've "beaten" every NES game and why that isn't as clear cut as it sounds on the surface and dig into the many reasons why that is.
