Follow up your speedy chain piecing with speedy batch pressing! ⚡️ I’m making the center section of my Star Crossed quilt so I didn’t stop to press each of these seams while sewing them together. Once I was finished sewing I:
1️⃣ Finger pressed the seams open and followed up with my iron.
2️⃣ Flipped it right side up and steam-pressed it flat.
3️⃣ BONUS: If you have a second wool pressing mat, put that on top and let your seams cool between the mats. This has the same effect as using a tailor’s clapper but on a larger scale.
