In this tutorial, I show you how to simulate a poster unrolling in Blender. First, I demonstrate how to deform a plane to create a paper roll. Then, I show how to turn it into a cloth simulation and how it can interact with collision objects. This technique is often used for CGI ads with banners that are revealed.
