โ๏ธ Instructor Josh demonstrates how to animate snow (using the straight-ahead animation technique that's great for showing organic or spontaneous movement, like fire or snow.) falling gently in the foreground of his character concept. In this video, he draws a Lynx-Mounted Penguin wearing a backpack, as all Penguins do, chilling while snow begins to fall around them. We discuss using references to draw something you've never drawn before, the importance of using multiple references, how to interpret something you have no reference for, like a penguin riding a lynx, adding to Josh's lore, what onion skin means in animation, and why it's alright to try something and then change your mind. โ๏ธ๐จ๏ธ
