Listen in on a 1:1 tutorial and arrange parts of an image in 3D space
In this tutorial series, I'm teaching my wife all about @AdobeVideo After Effects. Mrs Cactus has just started using AE and wants to learn.
In this episode, we take a picture of a cute squirrel and having cut it out from its background, we then arrange layers in 3D space and dolly a camera towards it. This helps give the picture some depth. We then use the fake camera's Depth of Field to automatically control the blurring of other elements in the shot. Finally we use the length expression to make this even more automatic.
