Today i will show you how to add video banner section on Shopify using free code so your storefront grabs attention the moment it loads because a moving video banner draws eyes faster than any photo and keeps viewers scrolling and also adding the video banner section in Shopify lowers bounce rates and can lift conversion because shoppers feel your vibe before reading a word. Plus the video banner adapts to mobile, playing smoothly without crushing page speed.
We will add this video banner by using custom liquid section by creating new section on Shopify code editor then we move to the Shopify theme editor, add the video banner section to the homepage and add the video link that turns into a sleek video banner, and also the video banner has autoplay, mute audio, choose a fallback image and control height so the section looks balanced across devices.
