Hi, everyone! I get a little nervous when I have a LOT of photos from one event or day to scrapbook (I prefer a few pictures on one page), but if even a double-page layout isn't enough room, then I turn to my trusty Flip Flaps from Close To My Heart. In this video, I don't show the creation of my double-page layout; rather, I'll show you how I cut slits in my page protectors to accommodate those Flip Flaps and make the layout interactive. The Craft iQ challenge was on pause for the month of January, so Im excited that its back on again for February. For this months challenge, we were to include the following layers in our layouts: 1- use a patterned paper background with 3+ colors 2- add silver 3- heat or dry emboss 4- flower smacking (?) 5- ink edges 6- add a textile (ribbon, lace, twine, etc.) 7- add doodling or journaling Even though these layers are fabulous and my picture is special, this layout gave me trouble right from the beginning!
