If your fiscal year doesn't start in January, building quarter columns in Excel by hand is a pain — and easy to get wrong. In this Short I show you how to use Copilot in Excel to automatically add fiscal year quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) for a July 1–June 30 fiscal year. Just tell Copilot when your year starts and ends, and it writes the formula, fills the column, and explains the logic (yes, January becomes Q3 in this setup). Copy the formula down and you're done.
