▶ You could evolve a Level 10 Caterpie/Metapod from Viridian Forest into Butterfree & it will learn Confusion - works well against Pewter Gym
▶ Nidoran from entrance to Elite Four (Where you battle Gary west of Viridian City) Learns Double Kick at Level 12 which is super effective against Brocks Rock Types (Geodude level 10 & Onyx Level 13)
