Use a light leak overlay to blend your clips together in a seamless transition. It’s the easiest way to add a dreamy, cinematic flow and give your video that nostalgic film feel.

Perfect for:
- Family videos
- Travel vlogs
- Behind-the-scenes clips

1. Add two videos on a timeline on different video tracks so that the second clip overlaps the first one.
2. Find the “Black” background and place it between the two clips on a separate video track.
3. Adjust the duration of the background.
4. Select the “Overlay effects” tab.
5. Find the “Light leak 1” overlay and drag it onto the black background.
6. Click the “fx” icon and choose the “Screen” blending mode.
