How to measure macrame cords and find out just how much you might need for your project!

GENERAL RULE OF THUMB:
☐ Your macramé cords should be about 8x the length of your project.
☐ Not folding your ropes in half? Only cut the ropes 4x the finished length.

FORMULA FOR MORE ACCURACY:
(A x 8) + (B x 2)
• A = Length of knotted section
• B = Length of fringe
Note: If you do not fold your ropes in half, the formula is as follows: (A x 4) + (B x 1)
