The city of Rizhao, on China's northeastern coast, is one of only a handful of places in the world trying to go carbon neutral.
It aims to maintain a "circular economy," where one industry's waste becomes another industry's raw material. The end goal: to use less energy to produce more. It may be one of China's most effective ways of combat climate change.
