I measure barefoot at 173.4cm, measure the heel height itself, then measure my height in shoes all within 5 minutes so my barefoot height hasn't changed between the shoe measurements.
Remember insoles will vary, some barely adding a mm, others could add 5-10mm above and beyond the outsole heel.
