This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun. This means that I used tools such as save states and frame-by-frame advancement to achieve this run.
This is my first attempt at a TAS, so theres bound to be a few mistakes. In fact, while rewatching the run I noticed a couple spots where I couldve saved some frames. But Im content with how this turned out overall.
I made this run with the purpose to show what the Any% run would look like if the strategies that RTA runners use were executed perfectly. The final time is a bit lower than I expected, which is pretty cool.

4-cycle Brineybeard, 3rd try monkey skip. Really good run outside of that. Sub-31 might be barely possible.
No input viewer this time around, my usual controller broke so Im temporarily using a gamecube controller, and I couldnt get the input display to work with that.")

Its been discovered that its possible to one-cycle the slot machine phase with the tigers attack, thus skipping about 8 seconds of invincibility. This means that theres no way to combine this with the quick transition, which requires the use of a lot of spread Exs, since you need super cards in order to even have a shot at 1-cycling tigers. The time save from the 1-cycle is regardless still enough to make up for the longer phase 1 & 2.")

Still improvable. I had a 1:13 Grim and I didnt go for the beppi glitch, both costing around 10-15 seconds each. Plus a few time losses here and there.
