The incorporation of the rest of the Trinity in James Gunn’s DCU has been a big topic of discussion amongst the fandom. The success of Superman has allowed the creatives to craft scripts centered on Batman and Superman, with those scripts in particular being a top priority at DC Studios. Superman continues to be a frontrunner of the universe, with supporting characters like Jimmy Olsen and Supergirl getting their own projects, and Man of Tomorrow centering on Lex Luthor and Superman teaming up to fight Brainiac. The Brave and the Bold is set to be the introduction to the DCU’s Batman, where he’ll be introduced to Damian Wayne and potentially feature appearances from other former Robins like Nightwing and Red Hood. Wonder Woman will be getting a brand-new movie written by Ana Nogueira and will hopefully be more true to the source material than the DCEU. The potential success of all these projects can lead to the general audience viewing the Justice League cast differently, paving the way for other heavy hitters to cross over, like Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, etc.
