Every month or so in Splatoon, a splatfest is announced which rallies players to choose a side from a selection of teams. In Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 2, there were only 2 splatfest teams that you could choose from but in Splatoon 3 there’s now 3 teams you can choose from. This new splatfest format has opened the way for new types of questions like what’s your favorite type of starter pokemon between grass, fire and water types or the most recent Zelda one being what do you seek between power wisdom, and courage. Some of the splatfest themes have been a swing and a miss but the concept is still very intriguing and is slowly being improved as time goes on. So I wanted to make a skit showing some of the ways Splatoon 3 players choose their teams from following their core beliefs to just choosing whatever their friends do.
