The Nintendo Switch 2 is here! And with it, comes a brand new Donkey Kong game called Donkey Kong Bananza. The last new Donkey Kong game was Tropical Freeze which released in 2014 so it's been over a decade! Donkey Kong Bananza seems to be the biggest and best Donkey Kong game yet with large open worlds, destructible environments, Pauline as a side character, and more. One of the things that has me most excited for this game is that it's made by the same developers that made Super Mario Odyssey. Odyssey is one of the best 3D platformers ever made so I have high hopes for this game. I've only just beaten the game and seen the final boss, so today I decided to watch and react to the world record speedrun for Donkey Kong Bananza. This is my first time seeing a speedrun for this game so you'll get to see my first thoughts and reactions. The current world record holder is RickSchmidty who has beaten the game in 1 hour 17 minutes and 15 seconds. To do this he pulled of some crazy skips, jumps and glitches. He didn't even get the Zebra or Snake bananaza! I hope you enjoy.
