An adult male manatee received care at SeaWorld® Orlando and was fitted with a specially designed wetsuit to assist with his buoyancy issues and help with surface breathing. SeaWorld® first began using wetsuits to assist with such buoyancy issues in the early 90's and remain extremely effective in the treatment and rehabilitation of manatees.
