For years, Snapchat has dominated the inner circles of high school students. Lately, however, Snapchat seems to be struggling to grapple with a changing social media landscape. While they’re cooking up a rebrand of the app called “Simple Snapchat” in an attempt to rival TikTok, Snapchat is also proudly proclaiming that they “are not social media” despite being social media. Today, we will be getting into Snapchat’s many issues including child safety and financial losses. At the end of the video, I will go undercover and make a new Snapchat account to assess the situation. Is it really as bad as people say it is? Let me know if you still use Snapchat!
