House & Garden | How Sir Frederic Leighton Harmoniously Blended Different Cultures @HouseAndGardenMagazineUK | Uploaded September 2024 | Updated October 2024, 55 minutes ago.
House & Garden presents ‘House with History’ from Leighton House, the former home and studio of the leading Victorian artist Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830-1896). Join interior decorators Alidad Mahloudji and Susan Deliss as we tour Leighton House, a 19th century studio-house turned museum, inspired by Arab, Persian and Ottoman civilisations.

Watch the full film to learn how the interiors are still a source of inspiration for designers today whilst we tour the museum following its £8 million refurbishment — including one of London’s great interiors, the Arab Hall, which was inspired by the 12th century La Zisa Palace in Sicily.
