Getting It On During the Annular Solar Eclipse-
We love RV Living full time as we just sat and watched the annular solar eclipse as we travel through New Mexico in our RV. Unlike a total solar eclipse, during an annular solar eclipse, the moon passes in front of the sun, leaving a bright ring or annulus visible around its circumference. โ๏ธ
The temperature drop during the annular solar eclipse was an exciting phenomenon to experience. As the moon blocked out the sun's rays, the temperature can decrease by up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, creating a sudden coolness that can last several minutes is what we learned. And we can sayโฆ. Burr ๐ฅถ
To safely watch the eclipse, it is essential to wear special solar eclipse glasses that filter out harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation. We got our NSAS approved glasses and plan on using them for the April 2024 total solar eclipse. ๐
Witnessing the annular solar eclipse has given us a a chance to appreciate the wonders of the universe and gave us a good reason to have a Blood Mary. ๐น
So, start planning your trip and mark your calendars for April 8, 2024 for the total solar eclipse!
Cheers!
