Cars Land is based on the historic Route 66 highway that went from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA. This highway was the main route for people making the move west and is still a popular drive today. I drove Route 66 with my dad and figured it would be fun to go to Disney's Cars Land and see how the two compared.
