Dominican Italian singer/songwriter YEИDRY reflects on one of the most meaningful pieces of music gear in her creative journey for the It Goes To Eleven series, where artists discuss the music equipment that shapes their sound.
From the start of YEИDRY's recording journey, the Focusrite audio interface has remained a constant throughout her evolution as an artist. The interface is "the switch" that allowed her to explore and expand her sound at the beginning of her home recording setup. The very first piece of gear she ever bought, it remains a key tool in her ongoing artistic journey.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and raised in Turin, Italy, YEИDRY has created a distinct sound that spans pop, R&B, Latin, and electronic styles and reflects her multicultural roots. Since first gaining international recognition via her debut single "Nena" in 2020, she has since collaborated with artists like Bomba Estéreo, Damian Marley, J Balvin, and many others. She has performed at major festivals, including Lollapalooza Paris, Corona Capital, and Austin City Limits, and iconic venues, like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and SummerStage in Central Park in New York City. YEИDRY will release her debut album 'Como agua' in fall 2026.
