GOT completely soaked! Relieve the pressure first by opening a faucet! This system had held pressure for over 3 months just sitting. No pump on and no city water connection hooked up. I know better but kept turning the anode rod out anyways. Could potentially hurt yourself if your face is in the way. I will say it blew out way more sediment than if you were to just let the tank run out with gravity.
