Hey everyone, today's video is on Norm Macdonald and his excellent strategy he used to make every late night television appearance amazing. It's one thing to be a good comedian who says funny things, but it's another level of brilliance when you're such a formidable comedian you can say anything and make it funny - This is the talent Norm had and what made him so special to so many people. Now of course Norm Macdonald wrote amazing jokes too, but this video is mainly focusing on his delivery and how he took a lot of old silly jokes and turned them into amazingly well-crafted stories with a few simple techniques. I doubt Norm Macdonald used this strategy outlined by Mark Twain in How to Tell a Story and Other Essays, but it doesn't change the fact that this novel nails Norm's exact process when telling a humorous story on late night television.
