Neural graphics use AI to improve image quality and frame rates while reducing the amount of traditional rendering work required. In Neural Dawn, these techniques will run on next-generation Arm Mali GPUs using Arm Neural Technology.
The demo, developed by Arm and Sumo Digital, shows how neural rendering can be applied to mobile game graphics on Android devices. It combines Neural Super Sampling, Neural Denoising and Neural Frame Rate Upscaling to reduce rendered pixel count, lower the cost of ray-traced lighting data, and improve frame smoothness without increasing the full rendering workload.
