If you have ever boiled down Maple Syrup you know that you have some time on your hands to have some deep thoughts. At the time of recording we are 12 days into this 2021 season. This 5th batch finish just over 2 gallons, bringing our season totals to 540 gallons of sap, and 13.5 gallons of syrup. This is strangely right on pace with a season average of 40:1.
