In Australia I predominately got offered day rates between $180-$250 a day. But this could be good for short days, but frequently the days lasted 10-12h.
Cambodia payed by commission, around $20 per diver or then around $60 per course I signed a diver up for. Usually this meant I was paid around $60 per day.
In Comoros, I was paid a monthly salary of 1000 euro. Which was pretty good consider food and accommodation was included. My expenses were very low overall, and my flights to and from were included.
The most I made was when I was paid per hour, as that would ensure I was paid for all the hours I worked.
