Here’s a look at the typical amount of art I make in a month including personal projects, sketchbook pages, products, prints and Patreon rewards. As a professional artist, you’d think you’d get to spend heaps of time creating but there’s a lot of other work to do too! I’m sure other artists have experiences that are very different to mine but this is a very honest look at the reality of my work balance. I’d love to tip the scales eventually so I’m able to spend much more time creating but in the meantime, I’m just grateful to be able to make art for a living in any capacity.
