Hey guys! I do think that this might be a little late... but here's the one and only Christmas-special episode for this year! ❤️
This TRABAHO episode is all about the vibrant Christmas tradition of the Philippines—the Parol. 🌟 I’ve always been fascinated by these bright, colorful lanterns that light up every street and home during the holidays! And today, I got hands-on and experienced what it's like to be a Parol maker and vendor at the Parol capital of the Philippines: Pampanga!
BIG shoutout to all the hardworking Parol makers who keep the spirit of Filipino Christmas alive! 🎄🇵🇭 Next time you hang a parol in your home, remember the dedication that goes into creating it. 💖

Part of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Mountain Province is a highland province of roughly 160,000 people, where towering limestone cliffs, centuries-old rice terraces, and living Indigenous traditions extend far beyond Sagada. Historically, Bontoc served as the administrative center of the old Mountain Province that once encompassed much of today’s Cordillera, and agriculture remains the province’s primary livelihood today.

Part of Region I (Ilocos Region), Ilocos Sur is best known for Vigan, but the province extends far beyond its historic streets. Its landscape moves between agricultural plains, coastal fishing communities, and the edge of the Cordillera, while centuries of trade have left behind a distinctive mix of Ilocano, Chinese, and Spanish influences—visible not only in its architecture, but also in its food and everyday culture.
