I thought moving abroad would make me more confident.

Instead, it completely destroyed my confidence at first.

I moved to Italy without ever having been to Bologna before, struggled with the language, dealt with confusing bureaucracy, and spent a lot of time feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and honestly wondering, "What have I done?"

But somewhere between getting lost, making mistakes, solo traveling, and building a life in another language, something slowly started to change.

I didn't become fearless. I still get nervous. I still overthink things and embarrass myself sometimes. But I started trusting myself more. I learned that confidence isn't about never struggling or never making mistakes, it's about knowing you'll figure things out when you do.

In this video, I'm sharing:
โœˆ๏ธ Why I moved abroad in the first place
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น The ways living in Italy actually hurt my confidence at first
๐ŸŒ The experiences that slowly helped me trust myself more
๐Ÿ’› What moving abroad taught me about fear, resilience, and independence
โœจ Why I feel more confident in my everyday life now than I ever did before

If you've ever wanted to move abroad, start over, or do something that scares you, I hope this video reminds you that confidence usually comes after the hard thing, not before it.
