In this video, I discuss the many ways in which Michael Saylor and his company are an attack on Bitcoin:
1) Saylor discourages human action, telling us that Bitcoin has already won when it clearly has not
2) Bitcoin treasury companies like Strategy seek to onboard newcomers and others into stocks, instead of a bearer asset like BTC in self-custody that is verified by running a node
3) Strategy creates large pools of BTC that are 6102 targets
4) Saylor muddies the waters, calling Bitcoin everything except digital money
5) Saylor actively discourages people from using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange
6) Saylor converts the discussion from self-sovereign Bitcoin usage into endless discussions about pref stocks, converts, and other TradFi stuff
7) Saylor pretends that financial engineering is a way to upgrade the world, while neglecting helping to build real Bitcoin infrastructure
8) Saylor promotes DeFi scams on Ethereum
9) Saylor calls Bitcoin plebs running nodes "statist," while helping to fund an Orwellian statist monstrosity like the "Bitcoin Security Consortium"
10) Saylor tells blatant lies in public (in my opinion), while it's quite easy to verify that these are lies in the age of social media
