How Many Watches Does Rolex ACTUALLY Make?
We all know Rolex annually produces more watches than its competitors. Take Horology’s ‘Big Three’ as an example. Audemars Piguet makes 40,000 watches yearly, Vacheron Constantin is half of that, and Patek Philippe produces 70,000! While that may seem impressive, Rolex is believed to make more than 800,000 timepieces annually! Considering that Rolex suffers the most supply shortages than the four brands in question, could it be that the close-to-a-million figure is a myth? Could Rolex’s figures be over-inflated?
