I started out making my dioramas completely out of XPS foam on my dining room table with a box cutter in 2018, but thanks to lots of support for you, my family, friends and some sponsors, I now have a workshop and more tools at my disposal.
As I gained access to more tools, I started incorporating other materials beyond XPS foam into my projects. This diorama is a good example of that, featuring some laser cut MDF that I cut and engraved on my @xtool.official S1 and some 3D printed parts that I printed on my Bambu printer.
My favorite thing about this hobby is that you get to carve your own path. I like adding in new materials and tools into my creative process, but am also amazed by fellow artists that hand carve everything, like my friend @sagejdg on Instagram. Check out his work!
