Ayato is one of my all time favourite Genshin characters; I love his design, and his character, and enjoy his playstyle a lot, and yet for some reason it’s incredibly rare that I find myself bringing him out to play. He’s certainly strong enough, and comfortable to use, so why is it that he’s often so low down the list when I’m choosing a hydro character for my team?
While I primarily pull for characters based on how much I simply ‘like’ them as opposed to their talents or power level - and I very much like Ayato - there are other characters who I like just as much but chose not to pull for, since I knew they wouldn’t get much use.
So, keeping in mind how rarely I use him, if I didn’t have him already would I pull for Ayato now?
